Meet the Assistant Principals

Welcome to Kilgore Primary School!

My name is Kella Stanley and I am looking forward to an exciting year and will be committed to creating an environment where everyone can feel welcomed, valued, and challenged to achieve personal and academic excellence.

This will be my fifth year as an Assistant Principal at KPS. Before coming to Kilgore ISD, I was an Assistant Principal at Winona Elementary for five years (2008-2013). One of my fondest accomplishments during my Administrative career at Winona includes winning the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Assistant Principal of the Year (2009-2010). My eleven years of Elementary classroom teaching was at West Rusk Elementary (1997-2008). This 2016-2017 school year will be my twentieth year as an educator and I am dedicated to making this the best year in my career.

I look forward to getting to know and work with you and your child this school year. If there is ever anything that I can do for you, I invite you to contact me. My door is open. It takes all of us working together to ensure that our school system is the very best it can be. I can be reached at the following e-mail address kstanley@kisd.org I look forward to serving the students, parents, staff and community of Kilgore I.S.D. I am confident that together, we can make Kilgore Primary the best school it can be.

Sincerely,
Kella Stanley
Assistant Principal
My name is Stephanie Jones, and this begins my 6th year at Kilgore Primary. It also begins my 22nd year in education. I have a wide variety of educational experiences including: teaching 7th and 8th grade science, a testing coordinator on a high school campus, teaching at Kilgore College, and working with graduate students at LeTourneau University.

Primary school has the unique opportunity to create the foundation upon which the following years continue to build. I enjoy being a part of this process after having experienced education at so many different levels. While the poem, “All I Really Need to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten”, may not be completely true. It is a great place to start!

We are looking forward to a great year at KPS. Thank you for trusting us with your student and partnering with us in laying the foundation for their education.
